Recording Quality
The Big Dog Surveillance System offers two resolutions, LOW 352 x 240 and HI 704 x 480.
The FPS (frames per second) also plays an important factor in the quality of the recording. A higher frame rate will yield a more fluid movement, while a lower frame rate will almost seem robotic. |
Windows Based Operating System
All BD1000 series Big Dog Surveillance Systems use Windows® technology. If you can surf the internet, you’ll find it just as simple to view and access cameras, settings and to burn CDs or DVDs of your recorded video. |
Text Insertion
Standard and advanced text insertion options are available to integrate Point-of-Sale data. Data is overlaid to specified images during recording periods. This option is compatible with most existing POS systems. Information is searchable with time and date parameters.

Solid Industrial Design

Built-in smart technology records only when movement is detected. Using the motion detection option increases recording storage by up to 42%. Multiple detection options are available, including: motion, sensitivity, size of movement, and selectable areas. All options can be optimized to perform to individual preference on select or multiple cameras, at varying times of operation. |
Storage Media
The BD1000 series Big Dog Surveillance System is built with a a hard drive dedicated to storing data ranging from 250GB to 3TB standard, depending on the model. Alternative storage devices include flash or jump drives and external hard drives. |
Video Search & Archiving
With the simple click of a mouse, previewing history, dates, times and cameras is a breeze. When you are ready to permanently store selected video, the next screen encodes the data to be stored on a simple CD or DVD. |

Alarms & Notifications
Systems can be set for notification of errors or unexpected violations and can also be monitored through email and wired or cellular phones.

If your system is set for motion detection through night hours, and unauthorized movement is detected at 2 a.m., the system will update and notify you of the occurrence while taking snapshots with exact time and date of the event. |
