To reprogram your 2000 belt pack to the base unit do the following:

1. Locate the base unit usually located in the entrance of the restaurant usually hung about 8ft from the floor. (A ladder may be required) Some Sonic locations may house the base unit the ceiling tiles of the entrance.
2. Remove the unit face cover by pressing the two tabs located at the top of unit by the antennas.
3. Once the cover is remover, follow the antenna cable to the transceiver board (usually color coded as red and blue wires). You will notice an 8 position switch that is set for your store's operating frequency.
4. Remove the battery from your belt pack and locate a similar row of switches. 4 on the top and 8 below.
5. Set switches opposite of the base unit in the row of 8 only. Example. If the base unit switches are set for the following: UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, UP, DOWN, UP, UP, then you will need to set the belt pack switches as: DOWN, DOWN, UP, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, DOWN.
6. Once you have set the switches power on the belt pack unit and test communication.

IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO COMMUNICATE AFTER TESTING, DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Locate the red rectangular switch strip with white switches next to the blue antenna wire. There will be 12 switches.
2. Locate numbers 8, 9, & 10.
3. If 8 and 10 are positioned up, and 9 down, your frequency is T10. On your communicator, using the top set of 4 switches, ensure the first two are positioned down and the second two are up.
4. Once you have set the switches power on the belt pack unit and test communication.
